The life and ministry of the Founder of Pilgrim Assemblies International stand as a testament to divine calling, apostolic order, and faithful obedience to the will of God. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, his walk with God began early, as he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the tender age of six. From his youth, the hand of the Lord was evident upon his life, shaping a vessel prepared for kingdom service.

At the age of seventeen, he was filled with the Holy Ghost and came into a clear awareness of God’s call to the ministry. This call was not merely an invitation to serve, but a summons to labor in the vineyard with spiritual authority, doctrinal soundness, and unwavering commitment to holiness. Yielding to the voice of God, he entered pastoral ministry at twenty-two, accepting his first pastorate and devoting himself to the care of God’s people.

Soon thereafter, he was entrusted with the pastoral leadership of Pilgrim Church, where his apostolic grace and shepherd’s heart would be fully manifested. Through prayer, the teaching of the Word, and spiritual oversight, the ministry flourished—grounded in righteousness and aligned with divine order. His leadership reflected a burden not only for the local church, but for the establishment and strengthening of the Body of Christ at large.

On July 18, 1990, he was consecrated as Bishop, and by divine appointment on that same day, Pilgrim Assemblies International, Inc. was established. This work was birthed as a Christian reformation, purposed to restore apostolic governance, affirm prophetic voice, and advance the Kingdom of God across the nations. Under this apostolic covering, churches were gathered and established throughout the United States, the Caribbean, South Africa, and West Africa.

In 1996, he was elevated to the office of Archbishop, acknowledging the breadth of his spiritual oversight and the grace entrusted to him for regional and international leadership. In 1998, Pilgrim Church transitioned into larger worship facilities in the Bedford-Stuyvesant community of Brooklyn, marking a season of enlargement, increased influence, and continued kingdom advancement.

His legacy is one of faithfulness to the call, reverence for God’s order, and steadfast labor for the advancement of the gospel. Through apostolic vision, spiritual discipline, and a heart for the nations, his life continues to speak—calling generations to walk in truth, power, and alignment with the purpose of God.
